We specialise in learnerships that are aligned primarily to the Transport Sector (TETA) and Wholesale and Retail Sector (W&RSETA). Individuals are able to articulate through our learning pathway in various workplace-orientated programmes. Some of our learnerships can be broken into programmes which address very specific requirements in the workplace.

OVERVIEW
This programme will enable the learner to effectively operate within the freight handling environment.The skills required in the handling of freight are dependent upon the knowledgeable learner who is able to comply with the relevant procedures and apply the necessary skills to their working environment.
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME
Learners completing this programme will be able to explore a range of options related to their chosen field. This ability will enable them to make decisions and improve performance around freight handling administration, planning, goods handling, storage, transport planning, and basic freight handling equipment maintenance. WHAT CAN THE LEARNER EXPECT

This programme is aimed at providing learners in the freight sector with:
• An integrated practical and theoretical grounding in freight handling
• The ability to work more effectively with others
• The skills necessary to maintain and enhance the level of service and quality of service expected by customers
• An awareness and understanding of key business principles that lead to transformation, transferability, economic growth and social development in the freight handling industry

DURATION
This programme can be completed over a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of two.
MODE OF DELIVERY
Contact sessions will provide the learner with the interpersonal support for the learning to take place. Furthermore, a workplace component will allow the learner to apply knowledge learnt in a workplace environment.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Prospective learners must be competent in Communications at NQF Level 2 or equivalent and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 2 or equivalent.
