We specialise in learnerships that are aligned primarily to the Transport Sector (TETA) and Wholesale and Retail Sector (W&RSETA). Individuals are able to articulate through our learning pathway in various workplace-orientated programmes. Some of our learnerships can be broken into programmes which address very specific requirements in the workplace

OVERVIEW
This programme is developed to achieve specific learning outcomes that will provide knowledge and applied competence in components such as transport logistics operations, implementation of routing and scheduling, principles of road transport management, marketing strategies, decision making and problem solving to manage the transportation of passengers or freight that is applicable in operating successfully in a road transport logistics environment.
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME
This programme provides the bridging opportunity for individuals wishing to pursue a career in road transport operations and management. It would also serve to formally recognise the experience gained by learners employed in the sector. This programme equips a learner for employment and/or career advancement opportunities within the transport industry, as well as enables the learner to pursue more advanced levels of study in this specific field. WHAT CAN THE LEARNER EXPECT

The learner will obtain knowledge to apply in the road transport industry to successfully execute crucial outcomes such as the following:
• Securing the vehicle load
• Managing customer satisfaction in a road transport activity
• Operating the fleet
• Applying standard operating procedures and practices
• Applying strategic road transport management principles
• Transporting freight
• Transporting passengers
• Processing road transport operational information

DURATION
This programme can be completed over a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of two.
MODE OF DELIVERY
Contact sessions will provide the learner with the interpersonal support for the learning to take place. Furthermore, a workplace component will allow the learner to apply knowledge learnt in a workplace environment.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Learners who wish to enroll for this programme are assumed to be in possession of Mathematics / Numeracy and Language / Communication skills at NQF Level 3.
